we need to make a few things clear.
We write Software for a living. We love if people find our software entertaining, easy to use or even useful. We work hard to make that happen. We have families we love and once it gets close to release they do not see us often. This is why we have decided to charge for our services. We do not like to play games with hackers. It is just a race we can not win. Thus we better invest our time in providing better software to our honest customers, instead of trying to fight the few, who just hack Software for the challenge. To the crackers and hackers. You can move on. Nothing fancy to see here. No challenge offered. If you crack it anyway, congrats on opening a basically unprotected software - that said...
If you want to use diabasics on a regular basis, you need to purchase a license.
About warranty:
We are human beings. We might make mistakes. Thus the Software is provided "as is". However, if you find the Software not functioning correctly, we get it fixed. We tested diabasics very carefully. Our friends use it. We are convinced it works, otherwise we would not have released it.
This software is not a a diabetologist. The calculated values may not exactly reflect your situation. They are only a suggestion. It is in your responsibility to make sure, that what you inject is good for you. The amount you really want to inject highly depends on a lot of factors. Especially the amount of exercise you do. If you do a lot of sports, you may need significantly less Insulin than we suggest here. If in doubt, please consult your physicist or diabetologist, before you rely on the suggestions the software makes. Also there is no way we can ensure you entered all the data that really reflects your situation in the settings panel. What we can do though, is to explain how our suggestion is calculated. We do so inside the software.
Copyrights: The Software was developed by us, derbrill multimedia. International copyright apllies. The food database is based on the nutritions database by the USDA. Being kind enough to release it into the public domain. Thanks a lot gals and guys over there. Without your hard labor, our Software would only have been half as good.
